FleX-RAY was proudly present at this year’s International Conference on Technology, Engineering and Science, (IConTES 2023) through our project partner Optoelectronica. The event occurred in Antalya, Turkey, on November 16-19 and was organised by the International Society for Research in Education and Science (ISRES). The conference aims to create a sense of community amongst the researchers, learners, and leaders in the engineering sciences by promoting discussions around theoretical and practical topics from computer and industrial engineering to mechanical and electrical/electronics engineering.
The FleX-RAY paper that participated in the conference is the “Plastic Fiber Low Light Measurement Method”, with Brindus Comanescu as its principal author and presenter. Additionally, Paul Schiopu, Marian Vladescu, and Melu Vlad are the paper’s coauthors. The publication focuses on the research to develop a method suitable for monitoring light transmission through plastic scintillating fibres.
